We run campaigns on Google, on hundreds of large and local search engines worldwide, and on thousands of industry related and mainstream sites. Campaign placement and content are adjusted regularly with a focus on bringing targeted, high-quality traffic for our advertisers.
We also often place ads in alternative newspapers, and we have advertised in papers like the San Francisco Bay Guardian, the NY Village Voice, the San Diego City Beat, the Boston Phoenix, Montreal's Mirror and Hour, and even London's What's On.

Cookies are very small data files placed on your computer (with your permission) by a web page server. They cannot deliver viruses to your computer. They tell the website where you've been on that site so that it can intelligently serve up new information to you.
A classic example of a cookie is the online shopping experience of creating a "cart."
We at EG use cookies to remember what the last category you selected was, so when you return, you are taken straight there!
Remember that it is solely your choice as to whether to enable cookies.
To enable cookies, follow the instructions below for the browser version you are using.
Most browsers hold a saved copy of visited webpages. Clearing your browser's cache and/or cookies can resolve a number of problems you may be experiencing while using the Eros Guide or other sites on the web. Instructions for clearing your cache and cookies are different for each browser type.

Though all elements of our site are visible without javascript, it's much less usable and easy to view if javascript is disabled. This is true of most websites today. Our ad photo galleries, printable versions of the ads, and much of our navigation functions seamlessly with javascript enabled.
Enjoy your web experience! Here's how.
From time to time a page may not display as you would wish. This can be caused by issues such as missing graphics or elements being stored (known as cached) from a previous session.
If you run into any such problems then it is best to completely refresh your page. To do this either hit the refresh icon in your browser tool bar or, on your keyboard, press Ctrl and F5 together.
If this doesn't work, please read the previous section on clearing your cache.
The Eros Guide does not sell pop-up space to advertisers. We only use pop-ups to alert you that you're leaving the site or to give you important information.
Most firewalls and pop-up blockers give you the option of permitting individual sites or pages to display fully while keeping pop-up blocking turned on for all others.
Listed below are some of the most popular pop-up blocking software packages and instructions to enable pop-up windows with them. There are dozens of pop-up blocking software packages, but we have chosen the most popular. Generally, most pop-up blockers will install themselves either within the browser toolbar, or within the Windows Taskbar along the bottom right corner of your screen.
Depending upon what is installed on your computer, it is possible that you may have more than one pop-up blocker running.
Please note that we are not recommending that you make general changes to your security settings, since we don't know your level of experience with your system--we are just passing on links to information that might be useful to you. Remember that it is solely your choice as to how you choose and/or implement your security settings. If you choose to make more extensive adjustments than just adding our site to your permissions, or if you're not sure how to do that either, please enlist the help of an experienced computer consultant first.
